Urine, even though a waste product of the body, has got medicinal properties.This has long been recognised in Ayurveda which prescribes the urine of some animals and even of man as a medicine in the treatment of some diseases.Shaiva puranas mention such a use under the title Shivambhu.

Family Planning and Ayurveda
